Korean Hemorrhagic Fever In 1970 and Survey of Field Rodent

Abstract
|
|
|
1. Hospitalized patient suffered from Korean hemorrhagic fever in 1970 was 283, among them soldier was 229 and civilian was 53.
2. There were 7 species of field rodent collected in the endemic foci and the most prevalent species were Apodemus agrarius coreae and Microtus fortis pelliceus.
3. It was succeeded to colonize Apodemus agrarius coreae and Korean giant hamster in the laboratory.
4. There was isolation of a virus from Microteus fortis pelliceus and it¢¥s characterization and relation to homorrhagic fever is in progress.
